Can I contact support on WhatsApp?2025-08-09T00:25:29+01:00

The short answer is no.

Unfortunately, you cannot contact our support team via WhatsApp, but you can contact us via Signal Messenger.

We have ditched WhatsApp entirely and switched to Signal Messenger as our primary communication platform for customer interactions and support. This decision was driven by significant privacy and security concerns with WhatsApp, including its extensive data collection practices (such as accessing media, location, contacts, and more), lack of true end-to-end encryption (with confirmed backdoor access for law enforcement), and ownership by Meta, which enables potential misuse of user data for behavioral modeling and propaganda. For a detailed explanation of our reasoning, please refer to our article on why we made the switch.

Additionally, WhatsApp unexpectedly banned our account for several days without any warning, which severely interrupted our service and left customers without much support during that period. Furthermore, our WhatsApp account is no longer functional on GrapheneOS—a privacy-focused Android operating system we use—due to WhatsApp’s technical requirements for Google Play Services and the Play Store, which are not bundled by default in GrapheneOS to maintain its security and independence from Google’s ecosystem. While workarounds like installing sandboxed Play services exist, they do not fully resolve compatibility issues for apps like WhatsApp that have been developed to rely on these services for background operations.

We strongly recommend using Signal for any support inquiries, as it prioritizes end-to-end encryption, minimal data collection, and open-source transparency. You can reach us there or through our other channels listed on the website. Thank you for understanding!
